Viewing home video surveillance across the Internet.

A Danish customer that has a second home on the coast had a Video Surveillance system installed at his house in Mandelieu. He wanted to see what was happening at the house whilst he was back in Denmark, Wireless and Web configured his French Internet connection to make this happen. He also was with France Telecom's Orange for telephone and broadband with a "Live box". He was frustrated that his family and friends could only get onto the Internet whilst they used their laptops withing 10 meters of the Livebox. This was inconvenient as the Live box was positioned next to the phone point in the Kitchen so Internet browsing was restricted to the Kitchen table. The house is made from reinforced concrete, WiFi has its greatest range with a clear line of sight. If there are walls in the way or even worse reinforced concrete walls the range is reduced dramatically.

The solution was a distribution of WiFi access points discretely placed over the house. Now Internet access is also available by the pool as well as the furthest bedroom.

Danish satellite TV in the South of France

Danish TV was available via Satellite with Canal Digital on Thor and a decoder was installed for the main TV in the lounge. They wanted to see Danish TV on TVs in the kitchen and bedrooms. The wireless TV sender systems you can buy in "Casto" could not cover the distance and deliver the picture - Wireless and Web configured a wired system now all are watching TV happily.

Danish Radio in the South of France

When the family are in Mandelieu they wanted to keep in touch with the news in Denmark and listen to their favourite radio stations. With the new network installed Wireless and Web installed "Internet Radios" around the home which integrated into the existing HiFi systems , now the Danish Radio station "The Voice" can he heard clearly in Mandelieu.

TV and Radio

Commercial

Wireless and Web are contracted to install Plasma screens for advertising in local supermarkets. Installs to date have been with MarcheU and Intermarche stores, with rolling ads updated via the Internet for local businesses.
