Wireless and Web are happy to announce the succesful completion of the launch of Miura Conference France www.miuraconference.fr . In conjunction with partners, Wireless and Web successfully found agents to enable the expansion of the audio and web conferencing service provided in the UK by Miura Conference to the French market. This involved the initial market research, selection of prospective agents, localisation of the services and integration of the business reporting into the existing back end systems of Miura Conference.

 

"The overall task was made easy as Miura Conference has an excellent product and it was straight forward to translate the value add into the French market place - which has already responded", stated Huw Williams the project leader for Wireless and Web. Based on the success of the project, further expansion has been planned by Miura Conference into mainland Europe, the first fruits to be expected in the next couple of months.
 
International SIP Calls stopped by Free
Free Telecom has suspended indefinitely their supplementary SIP service for International calls. Free's SIP service enabled an additional out going line for those with a Free box and an IP telephone. The second outgoing line with a suitable telephone provided a high quality audio call, benefiting from the Free 70 destination all inclusive tariff. This has now been trimmed back to destinations in France, for reasons that have not been made totally clear, although there are some interesting theories being supplied by the news groups.
